cPanel is a great tool for webmasters hosting their websites on servers where the cPanel software is installed. We’ve used Plesk also and find cPanel far easier to use and it has a LOT more functions and extra’s.

One problem with cPanel is that it HAS so many functions and extra’s, a lot to learn for an inexperienced person!

There is however very good documentation for cPanel, it’s just very hard to find if you don’t know where it is.

Login to cPanel, then scroll down where at the bottom of the left hand information boxes you’ll see ‘Documentation’ with a Click to view’ link to the right. On some of the newer versions of cPanel you’ll find a ‘Documentation’ link right at the bottom of the cPanel main page.
